Ridgeway Barns Open Day

We had the pleasure of spending a Spring Sunday with the Ridgeway Barns team, and some of their recommended suppliers at the Ridgeway Barns Open Day this March. A chance to see their beautiful rustic wedding venue in the sunshine and meet some of the brides and grooms celebrating their special days there in 2024 and 2025.

We were tasked with putting together a look for the top table, for couples to really envisage how the space could look on their wedding day. With a brief of ‘bright and bold’ we went for Knotted Napkin Company’s colourful hand-dyed napkins and a beautiful selection of crockery and cutlery from Luxe Collection. We finished the table with colourful Spring-time blooms including opened tulips and garden blossoms.

Andy, our head chef, and Jasmine, our marketing and event manager enjoyed chatting away to couples and their families as they enjoyed wandering around the wedding venue and stunning grounds. Guests sampled a selection of our canapés; goat cheese and tomato chutney, compressed watermelon with feta and basil and cured salmon with lemon emulsion and avocado. We had sweet options on offer too, including boozy cherry brownies and Andy’s famous blondies.

Not only was it a great opportunity to meet happy couples, but we loved meeting our supplier friends too. We caught up with Vaughan’s Kitchen, a fellow catering company who brought along their wood fired oven. We also met the Cotswold Wedding Guitarist, who wowed guests with his novel ‘guitar jukebox’.

We thoroughly enjoyed this chance to take a look around Ridgeway Barn’s light and airy barn venue and outdoor ceremony space ahead of our weddings there this year. Looking for a caterer for your barn wedding? Get in touch now.
