Terms & Conditions of Business

1.    Deposit Payments

We require a deposit payment of 25% of the projected cost of your event to confirm your booking. VAT is charged at the current rate.

2.    Change of Date

We will attempt to ensure our availability if your event date subsequently changes however we cannot guarantee this.

3.    Balance Payments (Weddings)

The balance (final) payment will be invoiced four weeks ahead of your event.  To enable this, we will ask for your final guest numbers and dietary information to be supplied six weeks in advance of your event. We will calculate the total invoice based on these numbers and deduct the deposit amount to arrive at your balance payment.

3.1. Balance Payments (Other)

The balance (final) payment will be invoiced two weeks ahead of your event date for smaller events. And directly after for corporate works.  To enable this, we will ask for your final guest numbers and dietary information to be supplied two weeks in advance of your event. We will calculate the total invoice based on these numbers and deduct the deposit amount to arrive at your balance payment.

4.    Damages Deposits

Typically the balance payment will also include a £300.00 deposit to cover any breakages, loss or damages that occur on the day. The balance will be refunded when our suppliers have updated us with their reports.

5.    Diminishing Guest Numbers

We reserve the right to review costs and charges if the number of adult guest attendees drops by 10% or more between deposit and final payment.

6.    Late Notification of Guest Absences

Refunds will not be offered where guest numbers decrease close to events. This means four weeks in advance for weddings and two weeks ahead for corporate work. This is because we calculate ingredients, staff and prep plans well in advance of weddings, to ensure you receive the best service possible. It is impractical to then make fine adjustments to these plans so it is not economical to pass potential savings on.

7. Late Notification of Menu Changes

Due to food preparation schedules and supplier availability, we cannot guarantee menu change requests made within 72 hours of an event. We will do everything we can to enable late changes but we may not always be able to accommodate.

8.    Hire & Bar

All crockery and linen costs presume 10 guests per table, cloths beyond this will be charged for per cloth. Our cash bar service is free, though carries a minimum spend of £1000. The difference will be deducted from your breakages refund or there may be an additional charge if this figure is higher. Guests are not permitted to consumer their own drinks whilst our pay bar is in session, unless by prior consent.

9.1. Bar Menu

We bring a wide range of drinks to our bars, but as our bars are 'pop-up’, we cannot guarantee unlimited availability of the entire variation for the duration of the event.

8.    Shift Durations

Staff are included for up to 8 hours only. Additional hours will be deducted from the damages deposit at a cost of £15 per hour.

9.   Wedding Menu Tastings

We offer a Chef’s Table service so clients can taste and tailor their wedding meal as well as discuss the finer details of their event plan. These are charged at £250 + VAT if the client does not proceed with Wild Fork. Additional guests (up to 4) are charged at a non-refundable rate of £50 + VAT per person.

10. Pricing

Prices quoted by email and in brochures are valid for three months only. Prices previously stated in catering plans may be updated if our supplier prices increase unexpectedly or if unreasonable customer expectations involve additional costs.

11. Cancellations

Cancellations must be advised in writing. 25% of the total event cost will be payable if cancellation is notified within three months of the event. 50% of the total event cost will be payable if cancellation is notified between eight weeks and one week of the event date. 100% of the total event fee will be payable if cancellation is notified within two weeks of the event date.

12. Allergens

Please be advised that we cannot guarantee that any of our products are entirely free of allergens, including nuts (tree nuts, peanuts) and gluten. Our kitchen handles these ingredients, and despite our best efforts, trace amounts may be present in all food items due to the risk of cross-contamination. If you have a severe allergy, please be aware of this risk and exercise your own judgment. We are happy to provide ingredient information upon request.
