Terms & Conditions of Business

1.    Deposit Payments

We require a deposit payment of 25% of the projected cost of your event to confirm your booking. VAT is charged at the current rate.

2.    Change of Date

We will attempt to ensure our availability if your event date subsequently changes however we cannot guarantee this.

3.    Balance Payments

The balance (final) payment will be invoiced four weeks ahead of your event.  To enable this, we will ask for your final guest numbers and dietary information to be supplied six weeks in advance of your event. We will calculate the total invoice based on these numbers and deduct the deposit amount to arrive at your balance payment.

4.    Damages Deposits

Typically the balance payment will also include a £250.00 deposit to cover any breakages, loss or damages that occur on the day. The balance will be refunded four weeks after the event.

5.    Diminishing Guest Numbers

We reserve the right to review costs and charges if the number of adult guest attendees drops by 10% or more between deposit and final payment.

6.    Late Notification of Guest Absences

Where guest numbers decrease close to the event, for example because of illness, refunds will not be offered. We calculate ingredients, staff and prep plans well in advance of weddings, to ensure you receive the best service possible. It is impractical to then make fine adjustments to these plans so it is not economical to pass potential savings on.

7.    Hire Costs

All crockery and linen costs presume 10 guests per table

8.    Shift Durations

Staff are included for up to 8 hours only. Additional hours will be deducted from the damages deposit at a cost of £15 per hour.

9.   Wedding Menu Tastings

We offer a Chef’s Table service so clients can taste and tailor their wedding meal as well as discuss the finer details of their event plan. These are charged at £150 + VAT if the client does not proceed with Wild Fork. Additional guests (up to 4) are charged at a non-refundable rate of £50 + VAT per person.

10. Cancellations

Cancellations must be advised in writing. 50% of the total event cost will be payable if cancellation is notified between four weeks and one week of the event date. 100% of the total event cost will be payable if cancellation is notified within one week of the event date.
