Euridge Wedding Rehearsal

If you’re looking to extend the celebrations and soak up that pre-wedding buzz, a rehearsal dinner could well be for you! It’s wedding-eve, the vibes are high, and you’re welcoming your guests ahead of your big day.

This isn’t the kind of wedding rehearsal you see on TV where you practice your speech and everything is formal and scary. It’s a chance to make the most of your venue for an additional evening and spend time with loved ones in anticipatory excitement.

We were honoured to be a part of B & E’s Euridge Manor wedding weekend, which included an ultra-cool and laid back pre-wedding event.

Around 7pm, guests arrived to the Orangery terrace for welcome fizz. B & E kept things simple here, no canapés, no grazing tables, just great conversation and bubbles as the sunset.

Feasting was the chosen dining style for the night; banquet tables adorned with patterned crockery, amber coloured florals and glowing candles.

The meal began with an Italian theme; smashed pea bruschetta, wild mushroom arancini and bocconcini.

For mains, a light offering of crispy sea bass with gremolata and lemon and thyme chicken. We served bowls of squash & radicchio salad, heirloom tomato salad and garlic & rosemary salted new potatoes.

And what better way to conclude a rehearsal dinner than with a pre-wedding pav! Andy’s delicious homemade meringue, laden with seasonal fruits and coulis.

This really was one of our favourite events of the year. Personal, filled with laughter and a deliciously simple menu.

A special thank you to Georgina Harrison Photography for sharing her works of art with us. These images really took our breath away, they truly captured the heart of the occasion.
